Snow Reflections (January 7, 2022)
Twilight tints the snow blue
Cloudy dawn develops a black and white still life
As the sky brightens
green slowly emerges on the trees
sunburst reveals red brick
seeping through the whiteness
So pretty
when I’m an observer, indoors
cozy in my red flannel pajama bottoms
and plaid fuzzy house shoes
admiring the sparkling winter portrait
framed by my kitchen window
