Liking Things And Doing Them

Haven't given much to be
grabbed by the scruff of 
the neck by,
I'm seen to the extent
that I ask questions
and try to hear answers.
But that's it
I'm utterly dispassionate,
I'm not even passionate
about questions and answers.
I like the idea of being
a channeller,
doing introductions,
but I never get the feeling 
of a d-lock
round my shoulders,
and find myself pushed
next to another a person,
handed cue cards,
just as my specialist subject
finally comes to me.
